Soldiers' Fall/Winter Wish List
Our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan need our support. Operation Support Our Troops sends care packages to our soldiers and we can help. A list of items that are sorely needed is below. Please think of our soldiers when you are shopping and when you see a sale; always keep them in mind. Let's rally together to support our troops.
Suggested Edibles
Tuna/salmon in pop top cans or foil purches or lunch kits, pop-tarts, coffee, coffee creamer, trail mix, power bars, dried fruits, canned or bagged nuts, powdered drinks, breakfast and granola bars, non refrigerated pudding, pop top meals in cans, peanut butter, cheese whiz, beef jerky, cookies, crackers, gum, hard candies, mints, twizzlers, chocolate, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, microwavable popcorn.
Suggested Toiletries
Chapstick, toothpaste, mechanics' gloves, feminine products, unscented roll-on or gel deodorant, shampoo, shaving cream, razors (esp. Mach 3s), moisturizer, soap in pump bottles, hand sanitizer, baby wipes, athlete's foot powder, Febreeze, room deodorizers.
Other Favorites
AT&T International calling cards, mouse/rat traps, towels, wash clothes, twin sheet sets, flashlights with batteries, batteries (AA, AAA, D and 9 volts), carabiner clamps. socks, disposable cameras, gladware containers, microwavable bowls, pens, dark T shirts, boxer shorts, sports bras, CD players, new CDs, DVDs, current magazines, hand held games, dart boards, soccer balls, travel games, puzzle books, birthday/holiday cards, new paperbacks, comic books, gloves, letters and cards from home.
When to come to shul, please deposit these items in box at the bottom of the stairs in our synagogue. |
